My 2.5 year old loves the snow just like his mum and while he's still figuring out how comfortable he is in thick winter gear I knew he needed a pair Need gloves or mittens to keep his paws dry during snow angels, snowball fights and aimless digging of snow tunnels. These mittens are really too big for my little one right now, but I'd rather let him grow into them next winter than something too small that he could only wear twice for the price. It took a lot of effort. first to understand that he needs to put his thumbs on his little fingers, but once we got the hang of it, its mobility and agility were pretty decent despite its being that they were too big. It was also a bit frustrating trying to squeeze bulky items through the sleeves of his coat, but once they were on we played in the snow for at least an hour with no humidity or temperature issues.
