Bought as a cheap welder for home use. Has a path to short wires. The cable that came with it is junk. A more serious problem is the power supply for using the device. I had a dedicated 120-20 amp circuit and it blew every time until I connected #8 feed to the 30 amp dedicated circuit. That alone wiped out any savings from buying a cheaper device. BUT there is hope. I got it working, bought another wire, welded the lawnmower guide wheel mount back to the deck and made myself happy, happy, happy without even trying to borrow a welder. I'll buy and find a 10/2 20 inch extension so I'll out of marriage I can get to my outlet. I have this welder, it shortens my ability to weld larger things. Much luck. Regarding HF, they have a $39.95 welding cart that works well with this little device.
