worked great for me until I forgot and left the key on while I worked on it. Leaving it on for too long will destroy the device. The instructions warn you against this, so it's all my fault I just got distracted, the instructions aren't perfect. There appears to be a small, thin, clear plastic feeler gauge for setting the gap, but I should have figured that out myself, the instructions say nothing about it. Otherwise it worked fine for me.
