Less comfort is better with headphones

I was looking for headphones similar to my Airpods and came across these. I wanted a pair so I wouldn't cry when I lose them. I know TCL as an electronics company and know that they are known for their good quality, so I gave them a try. They sound good for the price but aren't as comfortable as Airpods. As for noise reduction. Well I didn't even think they counted as noise canceling until I saw it in the rating features section.
