Review on 💡 UberLight Flex 3200TL Task Light – Portable Desk Light with Clamp, USB Connection, Flexible Gooseneck, Rotational Head, 9 Light Settings, up to 60,000 Hours of Use (Black) by Luis Baker

Fairly large, strong and durable gooseneck. The clip has a plastic feel, which makes me a little nervous, so I gently tighten it. I like the adjustability that allows you to direct the light where you want it without shining it in your eyes. It's not very bright and doesn't light up the whole room, but it's great for general desktop work. The warm orange coloring is pleasing compared to many white LEDs. My main criticism of the switches is that they are hard to find on top of the dome, they are not recessed, raised, have different textures or colors. One switch changes color, almost never used so no big deal. Other and On/Off and Brightness. Luckily, a single press brings up the previous brightness setting. The bad thing is that to turn it off you have to press and hold what seems like a long time (2-3 seconds) for it to turn off. If you just flick it like a switch, it just changes the brightness to the setting you didn't want and you have to fiddle with it to turn it on and off again. It's just not intuitive to me, but I like the lamp so much that I'll just get used to it. Power consumption is low (assumed maximum 6 watts); I use it with an off-grid "solar generator" battery and it works well for that purpose. Hard challenge between 4 and 5 stars. The switch and the high price are a bit negative. But the quality seems to match the price and I don't see anything better in a full size USB powered lamp. So 5 stars.
