I really like this lock. A little nervous if it were as good as the Defense Attorney's lock and if I could easily mount it on the door frame of a 1928 city ten-unit tenement building. It worked and I love it. It is robust, durable and reliable at an industrial level. I use it every night about 10 inches above the door chain (I live in earthquake-hit San Francisco so the frame/door isn't level like a brand new modern square house). a-box is a newer building. The arrow on the front convinced me. It is inserted and easily visible to those who may not know what to do to pick this lock. Just take a look and you will know without hesitation what to do. My adjustable door hardware, which was always in the way, took up space and was ugly to look at, disappeared into the pantry. All my security needs are met with this durable door lock. I made the right choice. :)
