We love this product! Easy installation, optimal price and excellent security. We have installed them on all our front doors and are very happy about them! I would give 6 stars if I could!

This door lock has a good fit and finish, although the screws (both 2" and 1") are unfortunately of very poor quality. Two of the 4 screws I used for the installation sheared off with moderate pressure with a hand screwdriver. I suggest providing your own screws rather than using the screws provided.

My two older children aged 4 and 2 have figured out every possible child lock including a latched child lock and while I'm a little impressed I'm even more scared. My eldest loves to open the door for everyone so we needed a better solution to keep him from doing that. It works so well! We tried other locks on our doors but if we opened the door and forgot the lock it would break the lock. This lock is strong! We love it and I would buy it a million more just for my sanity!

Would like more descriptions of the depth of the bar this works with. Unfortunately it doesn't match my molding around my door. The door is sheathed in 1/2 thick wood planks that look great but push the door in too far for this to work effectively. Otherwise it would have been placed at an angle, detracting from the overall usefulness of this lock. I need to cut off a piece of mold and I just don't want to. I installed this lock on a side door in my garage and it's really strong. Unfortunately this has been verified as someone tried to break in but failed on this lock. The screws that came with it were a bit long, but I used longer screws and I'm glad I did. Although they were able to break down my door, they could not enter. I really like this lock. A little nervous if it were as good as the Defense Attorney's lock and if I could easily mount it on the door frame of a 1928 city ten-unit tenement building.
