Wear gloves - my new review
Some of the ceiling lights I was replacing are an odd size, and the spring clips on the new flush mount couldn't reach the existing c-clips. Using some long screws and a spacer I was able to place these clips in exactly the right place to allow the new flush mounts lights to replace the old can lights.However, wear gloves when installing. The metal is razor thin (no reason to be any thicker), but this means if the screw binds and the clip starts spinning it will cut your hands up like a blender.
