Review on T H Marine 13022 Transom Adapter by Mike Davan

Did a great job. I have a boat with a 15" transom and a CMC PT-130 trim/tilt unit. I have a new Suzuki 25 that has a snap on mirror mount and I assume it has a custom bolt pattern. I say that because nothing is bolt aligned and even if I used zip ties and then drilled and screwed the bottom mounting holes the motor would have been mounted too low. Before I reinvented the wheel I checked the CMC website and found this adapter seen The description was a bit vague but it seemed like it could work. Deep and lo and behold, Revain not only provided for him, he was the best. Knowing I could return it if it didn't work, I went for it. Not only did it lift the engine, but it's also very durable and I'm sure it will last a long time. I don't know why the description says it's only 2 pounds because it weighs over 10. Comes with 1/2" stainless steel hardware. I'm very glad I got this and didn't try to fake anything.
