Revainrating 5 out of 5

Updated rating after 2 months! AntennaX looks and sounds amazing

Update! I have had this short antenna for over 2 months now. The first photo was taken on the day of installation, the second today. He didn't move. I live in a very rural area in Texas. I had no problems with reception. I've read a lot of reviews on here about the pickup and it could be because the coupler doesn't fit fully, if it doesn't fit there is no pickup. Try the solution below and you won't notice any problems. I really hope this helps. This is a great product and it's so nice not to have to deal with a needle problem! I love this antenna! I received it today and couldn't be happier. I have a 2015 JKU. When I first tried to screw it in, it didn't fit. So I went through the reviews and saw these instructions from Steve on 4/23/16 and they worked perfectly. I live in rural Texas and once installed I was able to tune into FM, AM and my XM and it sounds great! Here is a fix for tuning issues on JK and JKU from Steve's review. When you first assemble and screw it in, you will see a huge gap and you will not get any signal. How to fix the problem.1. Unscrew the bottom 2 inch segment of the X.2 antenna. Remove the threaded rod located in the antenna segment.3. Screw only the 2" segment into your Jeep and you will see that it now fits properly and is snug against the base. 4. Screw the small stud (which you removed from the long antenna segment) into the top of the base until it stops. Inch segment (I managed, with some effort, to fit it in without a gap). And you have a beautiful antenna that works and looks great. 2 inch segment. Following these instructions from Steve's instructed review worked great with very little effort! So if you have an issue with the JK customization, thank Steve for finding and posting a workaround. As you can see from the photo I posted, it looks amazing! Much better than a standard antenna. AM, FM and XM came through very clearly even here in the Texan countryside. Hope that helps! Here are pictures of my jeep with the X antenna installed following the instructions above. closeup and front. It looks amazing.
