Review on Laramie Tough Box Cigarette Case by Sandra Egan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Crushes cigarettes but still works well and at a good price.

Bad. First, the bottom of the case folds inward along the long sides, pushing the sides of the cigarettes down. Second, if you are not careful when capping, the small tab in the cap that prevents the cap from going down too far can crush/break the cigarette. If you put the cap on and feel resistance, open it again, being careful not to crush the cigarette. Finally, the lid was sometimes a bit difficult to put on due to the tight fit and/or cut out at the bottom, resulting in a king-sized case. It's good. Although the description says 14 cigarettes, 18 cigarettes fit even with the crease at the bottom of the case. I stretched the bottom of the case a bit to make the curves less noticeable. Be careful to position the cigarettes correctly so that the tab in the lid doesn't end up crushing the cigarette. The lid closes quite tightly, so the cigarettes in the case should stay fresh. Also, of the 3 cases I received, the sides on the bottom of the black cases curve inwards more than the blue case. That's probably why they give you 2 black for 1 blue. I have a Zig Zag Case and it seems to be a little better made. The sides are perfectly square, the tab in the cap is slightly smaller so there is less chance of cigarettes being crushed/broken and there is little trouble putting the cap on.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
