Most design is good, but it's terribly impractical to use ferrules to connect electrical conductors. The bolts used to tighten the clamps require the stranded wire to be split and passed through either side of this bolt. With a current of 50 A, it is very difficult to connect conductors in this way. Change that part of the design and it will be awesome.
