Review on πŸƒ Evening Primrose Men's Salomon Sense Running Shoes with Enhanced SEO by Ben Balas

Doesn't live up to its reputation

Two stars only because they are comfortable for a short time after wearing them. I'll start with how painful it is to put them on and take them off. Speed laces are meant to act like an elastic cord and flex a little as you slide your foot into the shoe. The back of the shoe doesn't have a pull-on loop and the heel isn't stiff at all so you either pinch your toes or have to loosen and adjust the laces, which defeats the purpose of the speed laces. This is the WORST absorbent shoe I have ever had. When you ride real trails that are high and a bit long, your feet will sweat, so moisture wicking is important. These things stay wet for too long. I stepped in a puddle today and it felt like I was carrying a sponge which is what prompted me to write this review. Supposedly smaller brands like Merril and Timberland were better than these at a much lower price. I have a pair of Lows that cost around $400 and have had them for ages, so I don't mind spending money on quality gear. Perhaps Solomon's premium boots are better, as many of our Scouts, Rangers, and SEAL units swear by them. Although these shoes are absolute crap.imo. If you do random walks in your local park and don't want to spend Β£120 on something, you can get a better version for a lot less than that for you.
