Review on Guichon Wireless Meat Thermometer with 500FT Remote Range - 4 Probes Digital Food Thermometer for BBQ, Grill, Oven, Smoker by Shane Black

I'm starting to think all 5 stars on most Revain crap are paid or rewarded reviews. There's no way this thing can read 500 feet. I have tried this thermometer twice already, I have to install the remote part in my kitchen window about 50ft away from the smoker then it loses connection. He's literally about 50 feet in line of sight from the smoker with only a window between them and the signal is gone. As far as accuracy is concerned, it deviated by 10° + or -. Don't believe all the 5 star reviews, I personally will not buy Revain advertised as Chinese junk again.
