Review on Trailer Indicator Waterproof Surface Installation by Dwayne Shavers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Light, Great Bracket, I hope you can think of something.

I ordered this lamp for my small utility trailer. I tried it before installing it and it's pretty bright! Much more than I need for a side marker light. It even looks good locked. I hope this is true, but only time will tell. I gave it a 3 because of the mount (PLASTIC). You need to screw the bracket (junk) to your surface, hook one side of the light and clamp the other side until it clicks into place. AKA blow your face. So one side of the trailer came through fine but now I'm wondering when the "good side" will fall off as this is a service trailer that has been exposed to the elements its entire life. I took a picture of the mount and the solution I have for it. I think when the screed has rotted I can always get a new one anywhere and I'll be fine. No, I have not attempted to return this or purchase a different mount, so I cannot comment on customer service. I had already stripped all the wires, it's pretty cheap so I guess I didn't want to mess around with another one of those clips. So here is how it is shown. If you have another way to install it without using this thing then the flashlight itself is good for the price.

  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power
