Lamp for winter heating of the chicken coop.

Incandescent lamp infrared mirror Kalashnikovo IKZK 250 W serves us for winter heating of the chicken coop. This lamp has a high heat dissipation. In addition, it is easy to use - you just need to screw it in and hang it at the right height. We have a lamp hanging right above the chicken roost. Why does the chicken coop need heating? In order for the chickens to rush in the winter, they need to provide certain conditions of detention. They also need to be warm. When the temperature drops below +15 degrees, egg production decreases in chickens and demand for feed increases. That's what they say on the internet. From personal experience I can say that 10 degrees is enough. My chickens lay all the time in the winter. Less of course than in summer, but not critical. Today we bought a new lamp, since the previous lamp burned out. She worked faithfully for us for two winters (about 4-5 months a year) and this year for two months. The service life, in my opinion, is quite large. The infrared lamp for heating must be screwed into a special ceramic cartridge, which is attached to a metal suspension. Thus, there is no chance of overheating. During operation, the lamp and the base heat up to a high temperature, so do not use plastic cartridges, they will melt. The lamp is sold in such a cardboard box with holes on both sides, like our old light bulbs. The lamp has an unusual shape. Her color is red. To understand the size of the lamp, I took it in my hand. The lamp occupies the entire palm. It is very wide. The package contains all the necessary information. The dimensions, manufacturer, power, base size are indicated. The manufacturer promises us that the service life will be 6500 hours. In our case, it turns out that the lamp served even longer. By simple calculations, I found out how much longer. 10 months * 30 days * 24 hours = 7200 hours the lamp has served, but this is of course approximately). I am satisfied with the result. The requirements for the operation of the lamp are described in great detail. We like to use the incandescent infrared mirror lamp Kalashnikovo IKZK 250 W. Screw it in and forget it for the whole winter. The hens are warm and lay eggs. In addition to heat, the lamp gives a little more light. It's more of a semi-darkness. Of course, it is not suitable for lighting, but if you need to quickly look into the chicken coop (take something away, bring it, collect mice)) and so on), then this light is enough for us. In the characteristics of the lamp it is written that it can be used for pasteurization and drying of food. I did not try. I definitely recommend buying. The issue price is 215 rubles. Thank you for your attention to my review, dear readers! Good mood to you all!
