I bought this pump not quite sure if it is what I expected but it turned out to be more than I expected. First charge was the longest, now it charges faster, I've had one for several months and it continues to work very well. I live in Mexico so we use 5 gallon water bottles here, they fit on the top as described. I bought an extra one that I keep charged because where we live on the Baja Peninsula we lose power from time to time (it makes charging without power difficult) but have a backup ready just in case. With a water bottle on a stand the pump is too high for a regular pet, the old way with a ceramic based bottle where the faucet is just the right height for almost all pets to lick or clean is very unsanitary. I love this pump and would recommend it to anyone who uses large water bottles. We clean the pump tube every time we change the bottle (with warm water). I love this pump!
