Revainrating 5 out of 5

UPDATE: Great cleaning knife but you can use wood instead

UPDATE: I recently switched from this knife to a wood/bamboo knife. The difference between day and night. With this aluminum cutter, the pizza often stuck to the stone when transferring, resulting in a lot of mess. This seems to be common with aluminum cleaners. I've switched to a wooden peeler and the pizza glides off much better without sticking at all. This does not detract from the quality of these scissors. I still give it 5 stars but I just don't think aluminum is the way to go when it comes to the perfect skin ====================== == = ==I just learned how to make pizza with a stone. If you are looking for a really great stone at this price, please click on my name above to see a recent review I did. It contains important tips and step-by-step instructions for preparing the perfect pizza. Of course, when you buy a stone, you understand that you need a peeler. I studied the articles about the vegetable peeler. Many recommend buying one made of wood. The problem for me is that I didn't want to spend extra money on a wood peeler after having to buy a rock. Also, some people complained that their wooden knives were not smooth and needed to be sharpened. I didn't want to go through all that fuss. I just started making pizza with a stone and wanted something simple. This vegetable peeler is fantastic. That's enough for a big pizza. Because the handle screws on and off, it's easier to store away. When I put a heavy pizza on it, the grip feels very strong. When using cornmeal, the pizza slides easily onto the stone. I bought this on the recommendation of all the very positive Revain reviews it has received. Here's another reviewer telling you that you don't have to spend a lot of money for a vegetable peeler. If you want to get wooden, fine, but you'll pay more for it. I don't think there is an advantage here. I have a knife in a plastic package in the photo. I wanted to show you how it's done. Be sure to remove the protective film before using the knife. You will be very satisfied with this product and I wish you a lot of fun making pizza!
