My previous tents were 2 and 3 person but they are almost 20 years old and need to be scrapped. I found this tent and after reading the specs I decided it was right for me and bought it. In making my decision, several moments convinced me to purchase this Hyke & Byke Yosemite 2 man tent. I needed a new ground sheet and this tent came with it, it saved me $20 as I needed a new one. The flooring has an angled strap that goes into the supports so it "stays" securely in place. The tent has corner pockets sewn into each corner of the tent as well as a detachable head net for easy access to items. A really neat feature for keeping up with all those small items you take with you on a multi-day trip. Dual vestibules are another handy feature for stowing backpacks, boots, bags and other items that need protection from the weather. This two person tent with storage outside the main tent actually sleeps two people and all their gear! Setup is very easy. The aluminum springs are good quality and the tent uses J-hooks instead of sewn pockets that can be attached to the springs with one hand. Fixed ground tent with struts and dirt canvas can be lifted with one finger. Very light weight. Well made rain tarpaulin with reinforced corners and sewn reinforcement at the attachment points. It anchors well and clears the inner screen over an inch to keep the tent dry. The pegs come with a rope for easy removal as well as zip ties. This is greatly appreciated when working in cold weather. All posts, pegs and ground fabric have separate pockets for easy storage in a bag. This tent is equipped with the characteristics of more expensive tents. I received a confirmation email along with two PDF files with care and maintenance and setup instructions. I also received a follow-up email from their customer support asking if I had any questions or concerns. We really appreciate that customer service is a part of their product and they work to ensure customers are happy. I would recommend Hyke & Byke to anyone looking for a 3 season tent for 2 or 3 people.
