They look and function as described. I bought these shoe socks because I like walking barefoot but dislike grass stains as they are difficult to remove and the pain of stepping on a sharp rock or anything else that might be hidden in the grass is no pleasure. So far I like these. I no longer have stains on the soles of my feet but you still have to be careful where you walk as they are not the same as the hard soles of normal shoes. So that a sharp stone no longer cuts your leg, but you can still feel it. They are easy to wash, fit great and dry quickly. I haven't had them long enough to say how they're holding up, but I don't have high hopes as they're already wearing out and I've only worn them once at home. All in all I like them. You get what you pay for. So if you plan on wearing them often and/or out of the house, you should look elsewhere.
