Great product, just take the time to get it right.

I wanted a car style wooden garage door and was about to shell out $3500 for the doors when my wife found this product. We decided we'd give it a try for about $100. I'm very glad we did and didn't spend money on new doors. The finished product cost about $200, including the cost of the metal door hardware. However, note that if you want it to look like real wood, you will need to put in a little more effort than shown in the videos. If you just apply the paint with a glove and clean the indentations, the finished product will look sloppy. I have found that it is best to apply all of the paint in small areas with a dry brush after applying with a glove. This improves the distribution of color and pigment and gives it a more natural look. The primer offers excellent coverage and the top coat looks like real wood when applied correctly. The top coat dries very quickly, so do not apply in direct sunlight on hot days. Can't comment on durability yet as I've only had it for a little over a month, but we get compliments all the time and I'm very happy with the end results. The kit comes with everything you need, plus a high-quality brush and roller, and the mitten can be washed and reused. I built a 3 car garage in about 4 hours over a few days (morning and evening to avoid direct sunlight). This product has saved us a ton of money and we couldn't be happier. Try this product and take the time to get it right. You will not be disappointed with the finished product.
