Review on M14-1.50 Magnetic Oil Drain Plugs - A Must-Have for Effective Oil Maintenance by Eric Speers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

3000GT: Avoid this purchase, buy a burger or an aluminum plug, both are better :)

It's garbage, about $4, I literally threw it away when I opened the box. The picture is not correct, it is not quality steel, not hardened, coated or high carbon as the picture shows. You're getting a VERY cheap piece of metal made from this blue-galvanized Chinese metal that the country is known for as "stainless steel". If this metal doesn't break when tightened, the threads will definitely snap when it hits your precious blood oil. After throwing this junk in the trash, I ordered an aluminum connector with a powerful magnet from another online shop. Aluminum is NOT my material of choice for an oil drain plug, but I will always choose it over Chinese cast iron.

Cons
