Review on 🌊 Ge Genuine OEM Water Inlet Valve for GE Dishwashers - WD15X10003: Reliable and Efficient Dishwasher Accessory by Raysean Forth

I don't usually write reviews but my experience with this valve has led me to do so. I bought this valve for my GE dishwasher from Revain rather than the cheaper aftermarket valve on eBay as it is an OEM factory replacement and the price was significantly lower than my local parts suppliers. After installation, as soon as the water supply was opened, the magnet was thrown out of the valve body and only the mounting bracket prevented it from completely detaching. On the other hand, it happened immediately while I was looking, not later, which could have flooded the house. An added annoyance was that the threaded mounting holes in the bracket would not accept factory screws. Considering I haven't had time to wait for Revain to ship a replacement and I refuse to pay for Prime to get the free two-day shipping that Revain used to offer with a reasonable minimum order (for that this valve might qualify), I had to buy the same OEM valve from my local supplier for $18 more knowing I could get a replacement right away if I had the same problem. Interestingly, the strut on this valve didn't match the factory bolts either, so I had to replace the stock strut with spare bolts - no big deal - four bolts. I've seen GE's quality control drop and I'm wondering if a cheaper $25 Chinese aftermarket valve would work just as well as a Mexican OEM valve, or if I happen to have a "bad apple" " got. Revain's return or replacement process is still the best and can't be beat when you have time to wait in the event of a replacement if you're not a Prime member. Hope that helps.
