Overall a good little device. I have pretty thin fingers and the scanners they provide at work are around $400 which covers two fingers and hurts my joint so I bought it mainly for comfort. How does it compare? Weight is much less, I don't feel it. too much when I wear it and it doesn't hurt me when I use it, so it's worth it for me. The battery life is not that long, I have to charge it during lunch break. I scan things way more often than they do because of their battery life. It scans some barcodes that the other doesn't. However, he fights against others. Gray on brown cardboard doesn't scan very well, and the barcodes we taped to the bottom don't scan (perhaps because of the tape used). It connects easily and quickly with Bluetooth. The range isn't that good.
