It's not worth it. for camera systems

I bought this BrandMotion camera for 2017 Jeep Wrangler. I researched alternatives and settled on this one because it seemed to offer a good solid all in one solution even though I knew I was paying a few hundred dollars for various parts that are probably under $50, plus an attached computing device. to avoid going to the dealer. As others have pointed out, the installation isn't very difficult if you know what you're doing - which means you've recently wired the dash, internals, and car. The last time I did this was installing an 8-Trak tape recorder in a '76 Camaro so I was pretty rusty and it took me a good six hours to install the camera despite being fairly handy and having all the tools had which i had required. . This involves a lot more than just changing a tire or a windshield wiper, and it requires you to take apart your favorite jeep and spend some time putting it back together neatly so you don't have to kick your butt every morning. when you go to work I give the product 2 stars because the camera itself looks like junk. The picture sucks - and I don't mean compared to digital TV. We also have a 2016 4Runner with the stock rear camera, which I thought sucked until I saw this one. During the day it gets washed out and washed out in any light, and at night it's practically useless. I installed new LED reverse lights hoping that would help but the improvement is marginal. It took me another 90 minutes with no improvement. I suspect Brandmotion is probably telling people to do this because they think they'll probably never bother to find out it doesn't work. It annoys me that the manufacturer doesn't spend another $25 or so to offer a decent camera. the negligible cost of the materials they charge. I would like to return the device, but I still need a few hours to take everything out and put it back in. Your dealer will make a computer for about $100. You'll save hundreds and get a much better product. Another option is to go to your local auto parts store, which will install the cameras. You'll probably pay around a thousand, but you'll save a lot of time and have someone to support the product if it doesn't work.
