I bought this to use the U-Clear with a half helmet. Installation was easy, but I was concerned about the microphone's ability to pick up sound since it's mounted on my forehead. Works surprisingly well! I think it works better than the kit installed in my full helmet. That may be because the speaker on these long earbuds fits in the ear, rather than the original device's ear cups. I actually had to turn the volume down a bit because it was too loud and I couldn't hear my wife when she spoke. It's still hard to understand sometimes when we're on the Autobahn at 130 km/h, but mostly because my bike is so loud. My wife has her own bike and we ride every weekend. It's nice to be able to talk to each other while driving.
