It just works! to video converter

I needed to send an HDMI video to another location over the internet. I stumbled across this article and am very glad I did! This item was VERY easy to install and set up. What I really liked about this item is that it can stream FOUR different streams, so I could set stream 4 to lower video quality 600kbps for slower remote connections and stream 3 to higher image quality, stream 2 even better and stream 1 video in full 1080p resolution with 4 megapixels. Then all you have to do is: 1) Set up port forwarding on your router so that someone on the internet can access the specified port/URL of this encoder. 2) From a remote location, launch the VLC player and set it to the encoder's IP address and assigned port/URL. That's it - you have excellent video and audio quality (audio can be adjusted to 48k). I also believe this company sells "decoders" that you can use in place of the VLC app and plug the decoder directly into any HDMI display. The best thing about this encoder for others is that it can encode in H.265, which offers the same video quality as H.264 but uses HALF the bandwidth. I've had this encoder running 24/7 for weeks and haven't had to restart it at all and it works really cool. Another advantage of this item is that it has IN and OUT ports, so you can connect to any HDMI source and still send the HDMI signal to the next device. You'll need to have a little technical knowledge to set up this item, but once set up, it just runs!
