Works fairly well on VLC but has strange problems using their decoder

I am using this encoder to stream a computer display of a magazine program to remote locations over a private fiber optic network. I'm a broadcast engineer and I have $5k-$8k professional video encoders from well known brands for H.264 video streaming. For the price, it's not too bad, although you do need to understand what you're doing to set them up. Remotely view the UDP multicast streams this device creates, both the primary stream as H.265 and the secondary stream as H.264, they work fine…

It just works! to video converter

I needed to send an HDMI video to another location over the internet. I stumbled across this article and am very glad I did! This item was VERY easy to install and set up. What I really liked about this item is that it can stream FOUR different streams, so I could set stream 4 to lower video quality 600kbps for slower remote connections and stream 3 to higher image quality, stream 2 even better and stream 1 video in full 1080p resolution with 4 megapixels. Then all you have to do is: 1) Set up…

As a local expert (no networking knowledge), I decided to use a hardware encoder to make it easier for our volunteers to start and stop a live broadcast. After doing some research and not fully understanding what I was reading, I bought this encoder and I'm very glad I did! Where we are now, our volunteer just needs to turn on the encoder to start live streaming and turn off the…

I bought this unit after trying and returning a similar product from Magewell called Ultra Stream. This product was significantly more expensive ($378) but literally did everything for you, which also meant the user had no real control over what happened to the encoded file. This product from URay is great. I actually only got my device back because I switched to their WiFi enabled device. It's a very basic machine, but with a lower price tag and a lot of control. So much control that it can be
