Review on MAG MATE MRN030X0100X025 Flexible Material Adhesive by Sam Anez

I bought this magnetic tape to keep track of my place in the knitting pattern. I have a piece of metal on the bottom, I put a table on it and use the magnetic stripe to indicate which row I'm in. While I only have a piece of paper on the metal it works fine. However, when I put the chart in a protective case to keep it clean, the magnet barely stays on. That means I have a piece of copy paper and two thin sheets of plastic between the magnet and the metal. It doesn't appear to be thick, but it's too big for this magnet. I'm disappointed as this can be an amazing product but I would only recommend it if you put the magnetic stripe directly onto bare metal.
