Do not buy. Okay, watch 'til he dies on the day of the show. Poor Customer Service

At one point I wrote a great review about this product citing the great value of this product. but i have to take it all back After buying this device in October 2019, it died in November 2020. Okay year you say? Of course. Well, that's a misleading amount of time. Here's the breakdown: The device logged 20 hours of total usage time by the end of the concert year, and then the pandemic hit. It has since sat in its hard plastic case which I bought and foamed in, roaming around in my work chest until it runs for a little this summer (add 10 hours) and a little more (10 hours) this fall - then the unit dies from show day - estimate 40 hours (or less) of total run time. It's not my primary monitor and the ink is used when I need to check truck routes. I wrote to Feelworld and after sending a diagnostic video, they kindly informed me that the motherboard or screen had failed and the unit was out of warranty (3 weeks). The solution is that I have to buy a new set (cheaper to repair) of their crappy monitor. Of course it's 100% cheaper than when I bought it (I wonder why). I wonder how long that would take in a normal concert year? 3 months? And damn it! A company that supports its users in a difficult situation (pandemic) would be great, but asking for a $300 preview monitor is too much to ask. In this regard, I wonder if TVlogic, Aja or BM, Atomos or even Lilliput could help you a bit given the circumstances in your own industry. Anyway, don't be as ridiculous as I am. Buy something from BM or Atomos, yes it's more expensive but it probably won't die on you anytime soon.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Out of Style
