I run 81 Kenwood TK Series radios which are no longer manufactured so I bought 2 NX radios which I am looking for in exchange against Motorola will be sending back radios which we will switch to in due course. Kenwood advertises these radios as having wireless cloning, but actually they DO NOT! Also, in order to have this function, Kenwood will NO longer sell programming software to customers. Some features can be programmed with up to 5,000 key presses per radio, but features such as voice scrambling/scrambling require software. Kenwood provided full customer support for the discontinued TC radio line, but chose to phase out its customer base using this radio link. Also from the Kenwood Protalk website "Wireless cloning is standard: quick and easy cloning of other radios within range"
