I love the light weight of this throw. Cotton is very soft. The synthetic side is cooler. I use the cotton side down and control the heat with an Ooler water pad. They are the perfect couple. If you have trouble sleeping due to heat or cold, Ooler will change your life. It's controlled via an app on my phone, so I can set it to 60 degrees when I go to bed and ramp it up to 85 at 2am and then 95 to wake up. It was worth every penny.
