My only real criticism of this ladder is that it is difficult to assemble. The only parts you need to attach are the top handle and the tool tray. Unfortunately they are not easy. The handle is VERY thick. I had to tap both sides to get them all the way down. Then the screws are very short and very difficult to hold tight. They are then screwed into a long washer/housing, but you will need to use a hex wrench on either side to tighten the screws. Trying to hold all those little parts and get the screws right took way too many tries. When I finally got everything assembled I was very happy with it! For a ladder in this price range, it is really functional and reliable. It says up to 500 pounds. I love that it has a real tool tray and a tall handle to hold on to. It's a bit heavy, almost 15 pounds, and its size is not easy to maneuver, especially for a short person like me.
