Review on πŸ’Ž High-Quality 6" 150mm Grit 320 Diamond Grinding Disc for Jewelry Tools and Gemstone Glass Ceramics by Jon Smith

The diamonds wore out on first use

The diamond coating on this particular disc came loose on first use. Heavier rims from the same manufacturer feel well coupled and durable. This one isn't very good. I used this disc in my slicers to try to cut a garnet. A constant stream of water flowed over the disk, as it should. The diamond coating came off almost immediately. I felt a slight tug every time the disc spun, and when I stopped the machine the base metal looked about 1/3 the face up. This disc costs about 1/10th the cost of a branded cutting disc. So if you're using this for something softer than a pomegranate, it might serve you well.
