I installed it on the side of one of the stones on my bench grinder specifically for sharpening tungsten electrodes for TIG welding. It sticks very well to such a hard material and I expect it to last quite a while.

Used to level and roughen about 100 slabs of jasper and agate. The stiffness seemed to decrease about halfway through this set, but it was still decreasing, just more slowly. My pieces range from 1 to 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Not bad for the price and saves my expensive cabin wheels from rough handling.

Attaches to the side of a 6" wheel mounted on a bench grinder. It works and sharpens SST wood turning tools. I am new to turning wood. Sharpening for me - new tricks. I use a flat diamond blade for manual sharpening. It's fast and this wheel is durable. The price is right too.

I have several of these picks in different grits. Some of them swing like crazy, others are almost perfect. I'm not sure if this wobble is because the disc is imperfect or it's warped, but it definitely interferes with the detail work with these discs. To update. A little over a week has passed, polished maybe 6 stones and already worn to the point of scratching more than polishing. Durability isn't that great

Not very well balanced. But guess what, I got it because I didn't realize it was disposable. So if your purchase doesn't meet your standards or doesn't work properly, it's still yours. If you buy an item invisibly on the site, you should be able to return it. I don't scold the Amazons, I buy a lot of things from them. From now on, I will not even consider an item that I cannot return. It was only about $10 so no big deal. Just a principle, you know what I mean.

These diamond blades offer excellent value for money. I have a GRS Power Hone and at $100 per drive it's very expensive. I really had to put a main circle or backer behind the discs or even double them to get rid of any wobble. All in all these are great wheels, I've ground many engravers and the wheels are still in great shape. I carefully sharpen carbide tools and some HSS to give you an idea of what I do with discs. I think I can sharpen more engravers with $10 for a x10 disc than with 1…

I was skeptical at first but am completely satisfied. I bought them to work on a slow speed lapping machine I built, similar to the GRS engraver sharpening machine. I use it to sharpen carbide turning tools. So far they have held up very well, the grain seems to be even and I have been very satisfied. The diamond coating on this particular disc came loose on first use. Heavier rims from the same manufacturer feel well coupled and durable. This one isn't very good. I used this disc in my slicers to try to cut a garnet. A constant stream of water flowed over the disk, as it should. The diamond coating came off almost immediately. I discovered this wheel a few weeks ago when I bought a wood lathe and needed to sharpen chisels and shape a piece of high speed steel.
