is exactly 1 year and 7 days from the date of purchase, the chipset has failed. PC does not boot, reports memory error. I pulled out 2 chips, left 2 more from another manufacturer, the machine boots normally. I took out 2 chips from another manufacturer, put 2 chips back in Timetec, one mistake. I've been building/modifying computers for over 30 years and have dabbled with a lot of memory chips. I usually pay a little more and buy King@@@n or Cru@@al memory but a year ago it was an urgent order and Timetec delivery was available within 2 days. I'm not saying Hynix is bad, I've used it a lot and you can find Hynix chips in a lot of computers. That was just my experience in this particular case.
