Review on Genie 100 OEM Genie Corp by Jeffrey Nunes

This is the second one we've used. We have a wooden garage door so I assume it weighs more compared to the newer metal doors in many homes. Never had a problem with a defective original part. Required to replace the teeth on the gears. This product breaks on the sides, causing a big safety problem. Lowered the garage door for the first time so far. The part broke and the garage door fell to the ground. If my kids were there, this company would have a big lawsuit. The last pause was when the garage door opened. It's too late to return. An exchange is not necessary, after a month it breaks again. Both parts lasted about 1 month. And we only open the garage 2-3 times a week. Not at all satisfied with the product.
