The water bottle looks nice and is the perfect size for carrying on a walk. However, functionally it is lacking. The bottle is not insulated so the water will not stay cool on hot days unless it’s kept in a separate container or sleeve.It has to be open all the way in order to use it, which is fine but that’s where the functionality ends. The button to release water into the bowl part is depressed and hard to push, especially for someone with nails. Once pushed, only a small trickle of water is released. This would be fine for a small dog that doesn’t drink much but even then it can be frustrating.The only viable option if I were to carry it would be to remove the water bottle and pour the water directly into the bowl part.Overall it is a good concept, just not a finished product. I think that with the addition of a sleeve and a redesign of the button to release the water and release it quicker it could be a good product.
