We dared the reviews and are in paradise! The sheets are quite soft and so adorable that we ordered another set in a different color which is just as comfortable. When my wife took this blue set to the laundry, she threw the bundle across the room for me to take to the laundromat. I was immediately struck by their softness, even when gathered. It was really amazing - one of those moments where you stop dead in your tracks. We might still be tempted to order a third set soon, we like them so much. The longer sheet is great for tucking under your mattress so it doesn't come loose when you pull the cover over it.
