Use thread lock on these large screws for extra protection. Pretty nice design, welding and materials used here. I also like the reflective marker bands on the device. There are two things I highly recommend to really make this device shine. First, I'd like to see some sort of "D-ring" that would help secure the cargo with ropes. There is currently no logical way to attach weights to a piece of equipment. Second, in the interest of future buyers, PLEASE add at least a quarter inch to the vertical spacers. If you're wearing T-111 siding, brace yourself for worse than an interference fit between the braces. A piece of T-111 will not fit. The maximum width of the spreader hardly corresponds to the advertised 48 inches. The reason for the rating below 5* lies in this egregious design flaw.
