I wanted a cute garland for fall and I bought it with high hopes. The reviews were promising! I really had to test the lights before spending an hour wrapping the garland around our balcony because while the garland is really cute, the lights don't work. I've tried using (fully charged) rechargeable batteries as well as brand new regular batteries and none have worked, so I know it's not a battery issue. If I didn't have to spend so much time unrolling an existing garland for a spare and then winding a new one, I would ask for a spare. Instead, we simply hang an unlit garland around our balcony. At least it's cute!
