These bowls are such a versatile size and perfect for everyday use. So many serving bowls are huuuge and make food for just 2 or 4 look pitiful - not these. Truthfully, I have been using these bowls to make myself feel better about serving take out for dinner for the 3rd time already this week. Just something about transferring the food from the box to the bowl makes me feel less guilt somehow. In my photos I have displayed some foods from the always delectable Olive Garden. I'm sure home cooked meals would look equally appealing in these though! I just can't seem to find the time or desire. Before dinner I just had a big salad and this bowl was the perfect size for 1.Also it's a pretty good match to my crate and barrel essentials dinnerware - both in color and in durability. These bowls are sliiiighly more ivory, not sure if you can even tell in the photo, but it's close enough for me to be happy. Both do NOT mark from silverware/knives and both wash up perfectly in the dishwasher (you better believe if I'm not cooking dinner I'm certainly not spending my time hand washing anything after eating either!). Very pleased with these classic white bowls and would recommend!
