Review on πŸ”₯ Enhance Engine Performance with Motorcraft DG520 Coil Assembly by Randy Perry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks and runs like the original

My 2007 6 cylinder Ford Edge has over 125,000 miles on the clock and the engine was shaking terribly. Ford and the internet most likely diagnosed this as a faulty ignition coil on one of the cylinders closest to the firewall. Repair estimates ranged from $1,200 to $1,500. After working with a lot of engines growing up and watching a great YouTube video showing how to change coils and spark plugs, I learned about the cost of parts. The original Motorcraft reels were over $80 each, the ones I selected were under $17, and I was attracted to the supplier's warranty. I replaced both the plugs and the intake manifold gasket and the total cost of the parts was $125 and the whole process, slow going to make sure I didn't miss a step, took 4 hours and could probably be done in half that time if I knew what I've done. I have driven the car 5,000 miles since changing the coils and spark plugs and the car runs smooth and the gas mileage is better.
