I've tried various HomeKit devices over the last few years and finally decided on the Aqara system. Along with the smart hub, I also bought an Aqara vibration sensor. Adding a vibration sensor to my HomeKit ecosystem literally took less than 30 seconds between the moment I opened the box and the moment the sensor was integrated into the Home app. The vibration sensor is thin and small and I installed it under the mailbox to alert me when the postman brought new mail. The vibration sensor is the farthest from my Aqara hub indoors, but during testing the response time was pretty quick (I set the sensor sensitivity to "medium"). So far so good, although the vibration sensor isn't specifically designed for outdoor use, it seems to be coping well with the weather. So far I'm very happy with Aqara devices - very quick setup, full HomeKit compatibility and exactly what I was looking for!
