Review on 4G Flip Phone for Seniors - Tianhoo Unlocked Senior Flip Phone with Big Buttons Dual Card GSM LTE - Elderly Flip Cell Phone with Large Buttons and Charging Dock Speaker by Dave Hammon

Forget usability. Forget the pensioners!

It doesn't have a touchscreen (as you'd expect) and you rely entirely on navigation with the most cumbersome keyboard imaginable. I used to have at least a dozen single-pad phones, and I've mastered them all! But it's a Rubik's Cube. It is incomprehensible and completely illogical. It's not a handy phone and I definitely wouldn't give it to my elderly parents. I haven't returned it yet because for $78 it's hard to find another phone with dual SIM slots and a promise of 4G service. but maybe I have to do it soon! Update from 6/21: after three months of operation (euphemism) as a mobile phone with my (locked) SIM card, it now does not accept the password and does not unlock it. The SIM card still works great in my old flip phone! The SKYPE and Whatsapp applications also stopped working as they require updates that the system does not accept. What a mess! Too bad I didn't send it back. Update July 21: You are asked to request warranty service by sending email to hello@tianhootech.com. Email Bounces. Domain does not exist!
