Package came new in box with instruction manual and power cord included. The instructions were pretty clear and the device is small and compact. If you have used an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner in the past, this article will work just as well. I have cleaned all of my 14k jewelry including my wedding bands and they were perfectly clean and shiny when taken out of the water. 5 minutes is the allotted time and the machine will stop by itself after cleaning is complete. You can use a small amount of dish soap (I used Dawn) as directed in the instruction manual. There is no need to purchase a separate jewelry cleaner. Great product, I hope it lasts a long time.
