Review on Dinosaur Electronics Micro P-711 Domestic Control πŸ¦– Board: Enhanced Performance and Utility for Your Home Appliances by Corey Harris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great replacement for broken boards.

My 2000 Dometic New Dimension fridge had a problem where it cooled down to about 40 degrees in the fridge when switched on. But then it either resets or goes into defrost mode and takes 24 hours to get back to around 40 degrees. During the day it rose to 50 or 60 degrees. It doesn't matter whether it's electric or propane gas. After installing the dinosaur board, it works perfectly. I set the board scale to 4 and the eyebrow setting to 4. Both can be rotated to 5. With Florida temps in the high 80's and 90's, it cools to about 33 in the fridge and 6 in the freezer. I did not install any additional external fans, as everyone recommends. I wanted to see the results when I change the board alone. I have a combo internal fan that attaches to the fins. I bought it from Amazon but it has been sitting there for several months. Pulling out the old circuit board and installing a new one took about 20 minutes. Happy with my results. To edit. Yesterday was a cooler day, in the mid 70's and overnight in the 60's. The temperature dropped to 24 in the fridge and 1 in the freezer.

Pros
  • It is equipped with a fuse on the 12VDC power line.
Cons
  • Almost never.
