I use this for to protect my nativity scene. I have had nativity scenes ripped out and thrown in the road before and this has enough strength to stop someone from moving taking it. 90 pound working load limit, 480 pound break strength. Each piece of the nativity scene has a small hole drilled into it and one piece of cable runs through the entire lot of them and then around the palm tree. Then just a U-Clip to connect the two ends together.This cable is small enough so as to not be noticeable but also heavy enough to prevent someone dragging the nativity scene into the road or beyond.I would not use it to secure something someone really wanted to steal, my purpose is to prevent someone taking this when they just want to cause me grief. I wouldn't use this to secure a bike, for example.I also put about 30 feet of it in the camper. Haven't been camping since I got this, but the idea is to use it for to hang up wet towels or the projector screen.
