Of course there are other inexpensive panels. But this guy is smaller and better color. Don't buy a light just because it has more LEDs. You can't compare them like that. The lamp itself is bright, even in color, compact. Shorter than Flash but slightly wider. Basically, the filters are fine. The fog filter does not remove sharpness and is almost tantamount to not using it. The only good thing this filter can do is hold a few filter leaves in place. The bulb is bright orange in color. In my experience, 1/2 orange is best. Pros: Bright Good color Compact Easy to connect multiple lights Multiple ways to power this light Simple 1 disc dimmer control Hot shoe not permanently attached Standard brass threads on the bottom for easy placement on a stand or gorilla Price Cons The dimmer seems likely to fail over time (but hasn't happened yet) A gray market item means you may not have a warranty. The instructions for connecting the two together are not clear. The filters that come with it aren't that useful. Connecting multiple together still requires a separate power supply and setup.
