I am an 88 year old widow who still lives in my home and maintains a large garden. I can do almost anything, but I don't have the strength in my arms like I used to. I cook Sunday dinner for my family. One of my most difficult tasks is peeling large quantities of potatoes. After peeling 3-5 pounds the usual way, my hands hurt. Not so with this potato peeler. Last Sunday I lost 5 pounds in less than 10 minutes. The machine doesn't seem to be very durable and I doubt it will last many years but when it stops working I hope to be able to buy a new one.
